a job, seriously though I have watched to very thing 2ce in my own life family and a friend, just fuck themselves up with this illusion of online poker, my advice to you my friend, if you’ll have it, leave it where it stands.

That is very hard question. I can answer you with “be a very good player and you will make those money”
But if you want to better your game that depends only on you.
A few advices- play only when you are fresh, playing in nights is not good, because you cant think good.
If you play a lot of time with the same people try to change your tactics a little because they will learn you.

Well, i would not advise you to try that unless you are familiarwith the rules of poker and have played offline with friends.

Another game that seems to be just as popular is gin rummy and you can play online for free and win money in addition to actually getting a real part time job.

I too am a college student trying to make money, so I played on fulltilt poker this whole last week. I won 8 tournament with 180 people for free, and had a chance then to win another tournament, which then would have to win another tournament to win money. You need to put money in to make money when it comes to gambling. Needless to say, I flopped a straight and ended up losing to a flush after the table showed 4 spades. I was very upset. I know people say that online poker is fair and all, but play on there for a while and I guarantee you will NEVER see such bogus hands continuously anywhere else. Honestly, the amount of skill is decreased so far online, and you need a TOOONNNNNN of luck. Your probably better off looking for quarters in the street. Good luck man.

First of all if you have to ask then you’ve got a lot of work to do first. You’d have to be making money consistently at poker before it can be considered a reliable source of income. Another thing is - at online poker you’re talking average daily income but you will experience considerable swings and you can go weeks in the red at a time even if you’re a good player. You can also go weeks in the black as well.

You’ll need to learn to become profitable first and while pretty much anyone can do this if they are patient enough and dedicated enough it will take some time.
