Most of the sites have a cashier where you can click on it and there should be a withdraw button. My took about 4 weeks from pokerstars.
No it’s not tough at all. If you are a US player, use Epassporte. If you made a deposit via Western Union, and you want to withdraw some of your money, ask for a check.
If you’re not sure, contact the poker site support, they will tell you which way is the best for you.

ways to withdraw from the online poker sites:
- check mailed (5-25 days depending on the site)
- overnight by fedex or dhl (pokerstars, absolute and full tilt); usually have to cash out for more than $1k to get overnight service.
- ePassporte account (for sites that support this method)
- PayTru card (Pokerstars only?)
the best and fastest payouts come from Pokerstars, Full Tilt and Absolute Poker. Bodog, Ultimate Bet and Players Only take a while.

Now you have to deal with printed checks being processed and mailed, and western Union.
I miss the good old days where Bodog would just direct deposit my winnings right into my bank account within a couple of days.
man, that was awesome.
More of a hassle now, and you have to be patient, but still not “difficult”.
